N A T I O N A L  T R U S T  F O R  S C O T L A N D 

National Trust for Scotland is a charity that protects Scotland’s built and natural heritage.  To celebrate Burns night in January 2021, the Trust was looking to advertise a virtual night with music, poetry and live entertainment. They wanted to talk to a younger audience that missed making exciting plans due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The tone needed to be modern and lively but traditional and celebratory at the same time.
 

T H E   I D E A 

After the incredibly hard year we had, I thought the audience was looking forward to an opportunity to celebrate. I wanted them to get excited and think that this was a unique event they couldn´t miss. The style had to look fresh and the vibes modern so I picked that negative photography effect, adding the paint strokes that were already part of the brand identity. This, along with the colours and the music was everything we needed to set up the mood for Burns night. Ready to celebrate?
